The Friends of the Blue Star Trail is a non-profit corporation whose mission is to promote and help fund the Blue Star Trail. The trail is planned as a 20-mile paved, shared use path from Saugatuck down to South Haven. On the north end it will connect to the Beeline Trail into Holland and beyond; in the south it will connect to the Kal-Haven Trail to the east and the Van Buren Trail to the south and beyond. Friends raises fund through two major events, private donations, and corporate and foundation grants. For more information, see www.fotbst.org.
