SHPS has approximately 1,800 Pre K-12 students enrolled in five school buildings and an enthusiastic and dedicated staff. Dual enrollment is available through Lake Michigan College, and other academically talented course offerings begin as early as 3rd grade. Other district highlights include the development of innovative technology programs and 1:1 technology district wide. Free breakfast and lunch for all students through the Community Eligibility Provision, along with numerous middle and high school sports team, award-winning fine arts programs, a nationally competitive History Club, and a Robotics Club that competes on a national stage.
